How to become an Assistant Kiteboarding Instructor?

The first stage of becoming an IKO kiteboarding instructor is to take part in the AITC-plus (Assistant Instructor Training Course).

During this 5 day course we will help you improve your riding, cover essential kite theory and introduce you to teaching real life beginner students. You will be required to show your riding level, demonstrate communication skills and kiteboarding knowledge.

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 16 years old (candidates under 18 years old must obtain parental consent)
  • Have IKO Independent Level 3 for at least 6 months*

*If you do not have the actual IKO kiteboarder card proving your level an evaluation will be done during the course.
